Le Mans, France – 16 May 2015: Having set a strong pace throughout the weekend Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS rider Tito Rabat will line-up fourth on the grid for tomorrow's French Grand Prix. The reigning Moto2 world champion completed more laps than anyone else in the intermediate class during qualifying and his race pace has been both strong and consistent throughout the weekend.

Rabat has concentrated on getting the most from his bike in longer stints and for tomorrow's 26 lap race the Spaniard looks set to be able to challenge for his first win of the season. The 25-year-old Spaniard was unable to improve on his fastest time after being caught out by a small rain shower with 15 minutes of the session remaining. The rain came just as he had changed to a new set of tyres and when conditions improved too little of the session remained for him to set a better time.

Alex Marquez will line up 21st on the grid in what has been a very challenging weekend for the reigning Moto3 World Champion. Despite finding an improvement in FP3 Marquez wasn't able to get the most from his bike on his fastest lap in qualifying. Having made some mistakes during that lap he felt that a top 15 placing had been possible but overall he is focussed on improving his setup for tomorrow's race.

Tito Rabat: 4th – 1'37.329
“We have had a very good weekend, with good pace in all three free practice sessions, but in qualifying when we used the new tyre it started to rain and I had to stop. There was a lot of rain but afterwards I tried to improve again, but I just couldn't do it. We'll see tomorrow how things are, but the times are close, we have a good rhythm, a good setting and I’m looking forward to the race here at Le Mans.”

Alex Marquez: 21st – 1'38.511
“In FP3 we made some improvements compared to yesterday, which was reflected in both my lap time and position, but in the end in qualifying we didn't find a good lap. We could have been in the top 15 but tomorrow we have the warm up to improve the setting. I'll try and enjoy the warm up because in the race I'll have to give everything. From this position there's no difference between finishing 20th or not finishing at all, so I'll be going all out to try and catch some points.”

“It was a strange day. Tito has led three sessions so far this weekend so it's a shame not to lead the session that matters. But I think that he has shown all weekend that he has got good speed for the race. We knew from the beginning that this would be a difficult race for Alex. After this morning's session I thought that he would improve so 21st isn't what I was expecting for him this afternoon, but we'll see what he can do tomorrow.”
