Sam Lowes is hoping past success at the MotorLand Aragon track in Spain can inspire him and the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team to a successful outing in round 10 of the WorldSBK Championship.

• Aragon is one of the 34-year-old’s favourite tracks and expectations are high after he completed a very positive and productive one day test session on board the Ducati Panigale V4 R there earlier this month.
• During his Moto2 career, Lowes enjoyed great success at Aragon with victories in 2016 and a double win in 2020, with a third place in 2015 also part of his impressive CV at the track near the historic town of Alcaniz.
• The action gets underway at 1020am local time on Friday morning for FP1.

“Aragon is a round that I’ve been looking forward to ever since the calendar was confirmed because it is a track that I love. I had some of my best races at Aragon in Moto2 and it is a track that holds some very special memories for me. Going there in WorldSBK is obviously going to be a new experience and new challenge but I feel ready. The good thing is we tested there recently, and I felt strong on the bike and that gives me confidence going into the weekend. I’m ready to enjoy the weekend and continue making progress.”
