On Sunday evening at Valencia the Marc VDS Racing Team came together to say an emotional farewell to Scott Redding who, after four years with the team in Moto2, will move on to a new team and a new challenge in MotoGP in 2014.

To mark his departure, Scott was presented with a collage print, showing some of the highlights of the 67 Moto2 races he started in his four years riding for the Marc VDS Racing Team.

In return, Scot surprised the team by presenting his own gifts to those team members with whom he’s worked during those four years. For a group of people that are more like a family than a race team, it was an emotional moment.
