Elf Marc VDS Racing Team set for special parade at 24 Hours of Spa
Elf Marc VDS Racing Team stars Sam Lowes, Tony Arbolino and Filip Salac will thrill motorsport fans when they participate in the opening parade for the iconic CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa endurance event this week in Belgium.
- All three will take part in the parade this Wednesday (June 26), with the special event leaving the legendary Spa circuit at 1630pm local time before arriving in the city centre at 1740pm.
- Lowes, who is spearheading the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team’s first season in the WorldSBK Championship, will join Moto2 duo Arbolino and Salac and the Boutsen VDS drivers for the parade that will lead them to the Place Royale of Spa where they will meet fans for autograph and photo sessions.
- Wednesday’s parade is the second year in succession that the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team is proud to be part of the popular parade following the fantastic reception received during the 2023 event.
- The CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa is the second round of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Endurance, with hopes high for a successful showing for the Boutsen VDS squad.
- As a reminder, the squad is an ambitious project managed by two experienced teams, the Marc VDS Racing Team and the Boutsen Racing Team. The collaboration began end 2022 and this season, the BOUTSEN VDS is chasing success in both Fanatec GT World Challenge Endurance & Sprint and the Lamborghini Super Trofeo.
- The team participates in the CrowdStrike 24Hours of Spa with two Mercedes AMG GT3, competing in Pro class with Max Götz, Thomas Drouet and Ulysse De Pauw (Mercedes #9) and in Silver class with Aurelien Panis, Cesar Gazeau, Roee Meyuhas and Sebastien Baud (Mercedes #10).

“It’s a great pride and pleasure to see the colours of my teams on the streets of Spa”
“For the second year in a row our riders will participate in this special event. It’s a great pride and pleasure to see the colours of my three teams on both two and four wheels on the streets of Spa. Last year was an indescribable experience. The welcome from the fans was very warm and we immediately felt at home. I am convinced that this year it will be the same or even better! See you in Spa!”
