Elf Marc VDS Racing Team to race with Boscoscuro in 2025 and 2026
After a rewarding 13-year partnership with Kalex in the Moto2 World Championship, the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team will begin an exciting new challenge next season after signing a two-year deal with Italian constructor Boscoscuro.
- Team owner Marc van der Straten and Luca Boscoscuro recently reached an agreement that will bring the triple Moto2 World Championship-winning squad and current class leading manufacturer together for 2025 and 2026.
- The desire to undertake a fresh challenge and ambition to help Boscoscuro continue its impressive current success in Moto2 has convinced Elf Marc VDS Racing Team management that now is the right time to embark on this new adventure.
- The ELF Marc VDS Racing Team has been a longstanding and proud partner of Kalex since the 2012 Moto2 World Championship campaign. Together they became the reference in Moto2 and won three titles in 2014, 2017 and 2019 during a period of unrivalled success. The squad also played an integral role in helping Kalex achieve over 175 Moto2 victories and 11 consecutive Constructor titles and they amassed over 100 podiums together.
- A close working relationship allowed the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team to provide essential research and development support to Kalex, which was fundamental in helping the German manufacturer achieve a high level of technical performance that remains to this day.

“I am very happy and proud of this agreement”
“I want to start by saying a huge thanks to Kalex and all their incredibly professional staff that have been by our side for the past thirteen years. It has been a long and great adventure that will forever remain in our memories as we grew and won together. However, time brings new needs and changes, and I have decided to start a new stage and challenge in Moto2 by moving to the Boscoscuro chassis. There’s no doubt their performance has hugely improved in recent times, and currently they lead the Rider, Team and Constructor Championship with only four bikes on the grid. I am sure our team can only help them make further progress while working hard to enjoy successful results. I am very happy and proud of this agreement because it represents a new and exciting challenge for both parties. We are still in the early stages of the 2024 season with many battles left to fight. And be sure that we will give our best in all of them.”
