The Elf Marc VDS Racing Team is delighted to announce the signing of a two-year contract with Tony Arbolino to compete in the Belgian squad’s famous livery in the Moto2 World Championship.

  • Italian Arbolino has emerged as one of the most exciting young talents in the MotoGP World Championship paddock since making his debut in the Moto3 category back in 2017.

  • Arbolino moved into the ultra-competitive Moto2 World Championship for 2021 and the Milanese rider is now looking forward to embarking on an exciting new chapter in his career with the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team, who won the intermediate title in 2014, 2017 and 2019.
  • Arbolino is an exceptionally talented and motivated rider with an incredible work ethic and desire to succeed and the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team is looking forward to helping him unleash his full potential on the Triumph-powered Kalex package next season.

We are very motivated to accompany him in his growth in the Moto2 class and to be able to enjoy great success together. We know he has great potential and a strength to compete and stand up to any opponent. We are eager to embark on this new adventure together with a rider who shares our philosophy and way of doing things.”

/// TONY ARBOLINO, rider:

“I’m really very happy to be part of this project. I think it’s a great opportunity to improve and keep moving forward in my career. I chose this team precisely because I think it is one of the best in the category and the connection I felt was immediate. They loved me and I loved them, and this is something very important for me. I needed this change, and I am proud that Marc van der Straten and his team have trusted me to represent them. I will do my best to show my talent and I will work hard to get the best possible results. The goal will be to fight consistently with the fastest riders in the category and be battling for podiums and victories.”
