“It took us a while to start, but we finished really well”
“It was difficult for us to start, but we finished very well and that makes me very happy. In the morning we had some difficulties. It was a day of adapting to some changes: the new rear tyre, new equipment and a new crew-chief. We had to get everything in order for it all to work. And we succeeded! In the last session I got the good feeling I was used to back. That was then clear in my lap times at the end of the day’s testing. When the battery was low and they tyres were used I set my best time. Ending the day like this is perfect because we know what direction to follow and go into the first Grand Prix of the year with confidence. ”
