“Qualifying was a crazy session”

“Qualifying was a crazy session because I and that mistake early in the session pushing too much in turn nine and I lost the front. But in general I’m happy, we did some good steps and I was able to be faster than yesterday. I have a strong pace and an opportunity for a good result in front of my home fans but it will be important not to lose my head for this.”

“We improved the bike a lot today so I had a much better feeling. In qualifying I was disturbed a couple of times by other riders so I didn’t do my best lap. But I have a good set-up for the race and look forward to fighting for a good result. I’m used to starting back on the grid so I will try to recover positions and be with the front guys early in the race.”
